Design and Overall Finishing:

The case measures a very moderate 38 mm in size without the top. When you flap this, the watch gives you a view of its see-through case back, presenting the Seiko’s innards in all their wonder. While the dial is protected behind a Sapphire crystal amazingly, they have selected hard bend on the back; it would have been better to have a Sapphire case back as well, but it is not an agreement breaker

The Dial/Hands:

This Seiko provides two designs to pick from – black Seiko Mechanical SARB033. I selected the black for the traditional and hidden look; the dial is black with a flat finish. Others might go for the off-white dial due to that Great Seiko-esque likeness.

In regards to legibility, this watch here is off the maps. The hour indicators are marked by rectangle-shaped indices with a lustrous inner tip on each; the 12 o’clock marking is a little bit larger. There is a little date window screen at the 3 o’clock place and above the 6 o’clock are written words “Automatic” and “23 Jewels” which gives you an understanding of the activity inside.

Bracelet:

The bracelets in itself are as strong as the case. The oyster-like links have these ideal, polished sides and brushed finish. It may not be exactly as spectacular as the Tudor Pellagos bracelets; this Seiko bracelet gives top quality.

The Movement:

I have been saying throughout this evaluation that the movement of this watch is what really places and Seiko realized very well that this type of factor should not go unnoticed: hence, the see-through case back. Tossing the watch over, you obtain an excellent glance at one of Seiko’s top quality movements. The striping on the rotor is a specific gift that this is neither your regular 7S26 top quality nor the more recent 4R36 top quality.

Post-script:

Seiko launched a more enhanced edition of the Seiko Mechanical SARB033 with an amount a little bit above $500. If you are really gung-ho about getting that perfect watch, you may want to consider the Seiko Mechanical SARB033.
